The Roman Catholic Church has been in the news for all the wrong reasons: pedophilia and cover-ups. Perhaps you are Catholic and have left the church in disgust. We appeal to you not to throw the Baby out with the bathwater.
Jesus Christ is not to be equated with the Roman Catholic Church. But He is to be associated very closely with the whole Christian Church, for the church is His body (Ephesians 4). Every believer in Christ belongs in the Christian church, whatever his or her past experience may be.
Come and worship Jesus Christ with us. Our worship is simple and dignified. Presbyterian church government is open and accountable. Our authority is the Bible, not tradition or a group of self-appointed men. Our goal is to “look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” He is the Savior and the Lord, and He calls you not to leave His church.
I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit- just as you were called to one hope when you were called. One Lord, one faith, one baptism;
